This is the tea experience that started it all. This is the high tea that sets the bar with which every other would be measured. This was back in November 2023. We visited London (sadly , no more queen) and my good friend Marivic was able to join us. She’s a gem. Maybe it was her who made the experience memorable?

Speaking of fancy, should you decide to go, dress code is strict. And no, this is not a Houston-type of dress code warning. Do not get me started. I’ve had notifications after I make my reservation on what is the expected dress code, only to arrive and seeing people in shorts and baseball caps. Not here, though. It’s a dinner jacket and cocktail dress kind of thing that is enforced. If you’ve look at the surroundings, you’ll understand.

D and I have been on a quest to find high tea experiences since we had one at the Ritz in London. This one at St. Regis comes close. This is a seasonal experience which features their very own tea blends!

The venue is definitely at a much smaller scale, but choices of the sweet and savory selections more than make up for it. Although, I wish they served it in those little tray towers though…
The live harpist however, takes the proverbial cake!
