Craft F & B

I just realized that it’s almost been a month since I put up a review. Make no mistake, I still eat out A LOT. But since maintaining this food blog is my personal endeavor for pursuing positivity, I do not write about my disappointing restaurant experiences. Sadly, this Spring season, there has been a few. I refuse to waste words on what already has been a waste of calories.

Luckily, we stumbled upon another Tilman Fertita joint his Post Oak Hotel compound, so here I am, writing again! There are a few restaurants in his establishment. Craft F&B is hard to miss. It’s the one next to the display of Rolls Royces.

It’s designed as a sports bar, with almost every detail just a tad better than the one you frequent in your neighborhood (unless your neighborhood is River Oaks)
The Post Oak Margarita
Milagro Tequila / Fresh Lime Juice / Hibiscus Cordial
MAC & CHEESE MUFFINS – this is one glorious dish
Goat And Pig Pizza —
Boucheron Goat Cheese / Nueske’s Lardon Arugula / Walnut & Honey Drizzle. The walnut is a surprising addition, it lends a very nice crunch and texture that you would not normally expect from a pizza
Craft Burger —
8oz. Single Thick Cut Patty / Pretzel Bun / Swiss Cheese
Sautéed Onions / Mushrooms . The burger came out smoke-y. The pretzel bun was definitely a plus. I always thought that the waffle fries from Chik-Fil-A was pretty good, but this one is even better!

We ventured out to the French bakery next door called Bouchee Patisserie. They had a kick-ass coffee-maker which churned out concoctions that did not disappoint.

I love how the crema on this is nice and thick
D picked this dessert and forgot what it was called. It’s some sort of a chocolate mousse with salted caramel at the bottom of the crust. It’s divine!

That’s my Sunday Brunch! Not your typical brunch meal, but was good nonetheless.
